Insigma Technology attended the “Enabling Innovation: UK-China Partnership in ICT” at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Hangzhou on July 23, 2009. The event was sponsored by the British Consulate-General Shanghai, UK Trade & Investment, and the China-Britain Business Council. The event is a strategic initiative launched in October 2008 in Beijing by UK Trade and Investment, the UK government organization that helps UK-based businesses succeed in international markets. The Chinese partner for the event was the Hangzhou High Tech Zone, (HHTZ), of which Insigma is an active and contributive member.

The conference way attended by Lord Davies, Minister for Trade, Investment & Business; and Vice Governor Jin of Zhejiang Provincial government. Also in attendance was Mr. Tang, Director General of Zhejiang Provincial Economy & Information Technology Committee; and the Vice Mayor of Hangzhou People’s Municipal Government, Tong Guili. Three panel discussions about commercializing convergence, how technology drives revenue generation in the supply chain, and global telecom operator collaboration were held, and afterwards a business networking event was scheduled.
